An Invitation to a New Revolution in America

To our fellow American countrymen,

Today, we invite you to join us on a journey to form a political alliance that will reshape our history and steer us back to the wisdom of our founding principles. If your blood runs a patriotic red, white & blue; if you wish to see the Federal Government function within its constitutional limitations; if you are tired of politically correct platitudes and policies that defy common sense; and if you reject the creeping socialism that both major political parties have embraced, please take a few minutes to learn about the FALCON Party and our agenda for America’s future.

We are not asking for money or oaths of allegiance. We are not even requiring you to leave the party to which you currently belong. But we are asking you to join us in this fight for America’s soul. We are seeking friends, supporters and allies who share the values of our heritage, values that were reflected and imbedded into our national character by a group of inspired patriots at our country’s founding.

For those who want to be organizers on the state or local level, we can certainly use your talents. For those who are, or wish to be, modern day pamphleteers in support of our conservative, pro-America agenda, we will give you an additional platform (or at least a link to your blog). For those that just want to stop by our website (www.falconparty.com) and offer moral support at this time, we welcome the encouragement. Any level of effort in between is also appreciated. Our goals are your goals. They are ambitious, but realistic. We intend to nominate candidates for national office by the 2012 presidential election year cycle. We intend to become a preeminent voice of conservatism in the years to come. We are not just a political party, but also a think tank, an advocate for American Exceptionalism, and a place to gather for those interested in US history, the foundations of our Republic, and our place in the world today.

We are not ‘neo-conservatives’, ‘paleo-conservatives’, or ‘third way’ conservatives; we are simply conservatives - American patriots who believe in fighting our enemies both foreign and domestic, slashing the unseemly bureaucracy that usurps our God given freedoms, and restoring the constitutionally proscribed powers between the federal government, the States and the people.

Why FALCON, you may ask? Our party was founded by rock ribbed, Reaganite conservatives who are more than disenchanted with the direction of the Republican Party. We are not intending to sabotage the genuine conservative members of the GOP. We will continue to support them with our voices and our alliance. By being an open party ourselves, we anticipate many GOPers will sign up for FALCON, yet retain their Republican membership for the time being (we anticipate the same for Libertarians and Constitution Party members).

Our name, FALCON is an acronym, and represents Fealty to America, Liberty, Conservatism, Optimism, and Nobility.

There are numerous issues that must be urgently addressed to keep the United States from decaying into a ‘formerly great country’. America cannot afford to lose its economic or military superpower status, especially as we see unfriendly nations and alliances rising to challenge us in every facet of human endeavor.

For decades now, the socialists in our country, the Democrats, have worked to limit individual freedom - the catalyst for our greatness, grow the federal government’s reach and scope well beyond its constitutional limits, and coddle our enemies – from the USSR, to Cuba, to the Sandinistas to this latest wave of Islamic jihadists. While the GOP is generally more sensible and conservative than the Democrats, they have resigned themselves to co-opting much of the Democratic Party platform. We intend to stop the nonsense, and re-establish conservative principles and governance across the board. Some issues requiring immediate attention include:

China:

While the GOP leadership blindly encourages the hyper-industrialization of China at the expense of our national security and industrial base with ignorant tax and trade policy, we propose to treat China as they treat us – as adversaries. China has aligned itself with every unsavory regime across the globe, has peddled weapons to most, and has extremely aggressive military and corporate espionage programs. It is time to call out their malfeasance and well past time to stop relying on this communist country for Treasury bill purchases to keep our system afloat. It is beyond dangerous, and must end.

Bankrupting Bureaucracy:

The good news is that the Bush Tax cuts (famously opposed by one John McCain) have spurred economic growth and record receipts into the federal Treasury. The bad news is that spending on foolish and unconstitutional programs continues to lead us towards insolvency. Instead of fundamentally reforming Medicare, the GOP led the charge to add hundreds of billions more in outlays for prescription drugs. Instead of gutting the Department of Education, the GOP worked hand in glove with the Democrats to grow this ineffectual monstrosity. Instead of demanding responsibility from the CIA and the FBI and tearing down the walls of communication to improve our intelligence gathering, they added another onerous layer of bureaucracy known as the Department of Homeland Security, which has given us ‘random’ airport screenings of little old ladies. FALCON estimates that 40% to 60% of what the federal government currently does can and should be eliminated.

Taxation:

We have heard both parties talk about ‘tax reform’ for decades. Yet nothing ever gets accomplished. The GOP lowers marginal rates one year, then the Democrats (or Republicans) raise them the next. All the while, the tax code grows more unwieldy. There are solid, viable proposals for both a flat income tax and a national sales tax. While significantly different, each offers serious reform and simplification and a move away from penalizing the most productive sectors of the economy. It is time to send the vast majority of IRS employees and tax consultants into a productive line of work.

Global Warming:

The GOP is in the process of nominating a candidate, John McCain, whose policy on so called ‘climate change’ is nearly indistinguishable from those of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. And by all indications, a growing segment of GOP leadership - from President Bush to Newt Gingrich to the RNC - are jumping on this bandwagon….all for the biggest hoax in history. ANWR and the US coastal waters should be humming with the sound of oil rigs, and refineries and power plants should be sprouting like mushrooms across the fruited plains. Instead, we get hot air from Washington and energy bills that ban the incandescent light bulb.

Sovereignty:

The key to survival as a nation is to not hamstring ourselves with this festering push for ‘globalism’ in the name of altruistic endeavors. We must reject the Law of the Sea Treaty that gives the United Nations control of the world’s oceans. We must secure our borders to allow only those we invite to enter this country and swiftly remove all who have illegally gained entry. We must reject a WTO that has the power (recently demonstrated) to dictate US corporate tax policy. The states and the people created our federal government with limited authority. There is no room whatsoever for supranational entities having any authority over US citizens or our elected representatives, period.

Military Power:

We fully support the eradication of Islamic terrorists and terror harboring regimes that threaten the United States. But we need a military that can easily win the skirmishes, such as the operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, while simultaneously retaining the power to crush the threat of hostile nation states, including a budding China-Russia alliance. The budget for defense spending has spiraled downward since the Reagan years; from over 6% of GDP in 1986 to only 3% by the year 1999. For fiscal year 2009, the highest estimate - including the costs for the Iraq and Afghan theatres - is 4.7%. For comparison, during the height of the Vietnam War, defense spending was 9.4%. Defending our nation is one of a handful of constitutionally enumerated responsibilities for the federal government, and FALCON will fight for an immediate return to Reagan era defense budgets.

These are just a few of the issues that confront us all as citizens of this great republic. Conservatives must come together now and turn this ship around. Despite the seriousness of the task before us, we must do so with good humor and cheer, not pessimism and foreboding, because it is truly an honor and privilege to work for the renewal of our nation; the greatest God has ever placed on this earth. It is our turn to do the heavy lifting that so many generations of Americans did before us, and hand off to our posterity what Washington, Madison, Jefferson and Franklin handed to theirs. We intend to ally ourselves with other great conservative organizations such as the Heritage Foundation, the Eagle Forum, the Center for Security Policy, and many others to affect this change. Learn more at our website and contact us to get involved in the next phase of the Reagan Revolution. The country cannot afford to wait

God Bless the good old USA.

Sincerely,

Alexander J. Madison.

You were quick on the draw, Mr. Webmaster. Well done.

  2. CPowellOmaha Says:

Sounds good to me, what do we do now?

  3. Lynn Says:

Good to hear from you again.

    Let’s roll!

  4. ajmadison Says:

CPowellOmaha and Lynn. Thanks for stopping by. The gameplan for the next few months is to get our name and message in front of evry single media and blog out there. In addition to building up our collection of interested volunteers/supporters, we will be contacted several other conservative upstart parties and seeing how we can best work together. But we need all the bullhorns we can muster right now.

  5. Rob Chapman Says:

As being disgusted with both the Republicans and Democrats, (In fact, I’m beginning to view them as traitors to our Nation)I’m quite intrigued by your new Party.

But in your statement, you failed to mention in detail what George Washington warned of: “The dangers of Foreign Entanglements”.

What I refer to is our unconditional support for Israel, even when it is against the best interests’ of the United States.

One would not be honest if one did not at least acknowledge that our unquestioned support for Israel has greatly influenced our foreign policy, and many times to our detriment.

What is the policy of FALCON when it comes to Israel?

  6. Arthur Says:

    Hello all…

This might be a new political party forming. I like the Platform and I hope we can be a STRONG 3rd Party. I’m getting sick of the GOP (including my Governor and my RINO senator (MelMORONez. They don’t believe having oil rigs off the FL coast is good for tourism, but HAVING NO OIL is REALLY going to HURT TOURISM.) At least my Congressmen is good.

  7. WalterSkinner Says:

..best wishes and prayers for the new work…

  8. rome2000 Says:

The GOP is lost and leaderless, their brand of country club creeping socialism more insidious than a Marxist revolution.

    I support the Falcon Party.

  9. Crim Says:

Rob…there was no Isreal when Washington was president…there had been no holocuast…

While Isreal may not be perfect…they are the closest thing to America in the middle east…

We abandone them at our own peril…

Start bashing Isreal, use the term “zoinist” one time…color me gone.

If your looking for some founder foriegn policy…try Jefferson and the barbary coast.

He understood the danger from Islam over 200 years ago…

Keep your eye on the enemy.

To the rest…I look forward to offering my support…

    Conservative is…as conservative does…

Looks like a new day is dawning. I’m for substantial change and so far…good. I will keep observing and will provide whatever support an “old fart” Navy Vet can. Thanks for the hope.

  11. Synovio Says:

The notion of a viable new party for the USA is long overdue.
Count me into whatever plans you have that will preserve and protect our great nation, and respect the sacrifices of its citizens in every conflict in our history.
We cannot allow ourselves the luxury of indifference any longer. If this be a harbinger of a new revolt against the clowns that are running the circus and devastating our nation then so be it. By peaceful means if at all possible, but by any and all means, we must return to a sensible course away from the rocks of decay and avarice the career lawyer/politicians have set us on for decades.
Elimination of the IRS in favor of a practical sensible and automatic revenue collection system is imperative and can be done. Our congress needs to work FOR America and not just for tenure and a fine retirement plan. Our education system needs to once again turn out the best minds in the world - not a gaggle of fools. Our seniors and veterans must be considered before we send money overseas or provide housing and health care for law-breaking invaders..
Remove the yolks set upon small business and watch the economy thrive. Dust off the electric chair and thin the herd of child molesters and other miscreants. Who isn’t sick to death of hearing about these “Repeat offenders” committing ghastly crimes over and over again?
Yeah - I’m all for a restoration of our country. It can only come from a complete overhaul that a serious new party can hopefully provide, as both major parties have been and are addicted to sheer nonsense. They squander time and resources better spent in pursuit of common sense, values, decency and the belief in morality that our founders imbued in both public and private life.
I swore an oath to protect and defend our Constitution from all enemies foreign AND domestic. I never rescinded that oath when I received an honorable discharge. None of us did.

  12. Arthur Says:

If anyone is in the Tampa Area on Florida! We should get together and start the Florida branch of the new CONSERVATIVE party - the FALCON PARTY.

  13. ajmadison Says:

Rob, to the question of Israel, we support them for myraid reasons. Not the least of which is it gives us a powerful ally that may take Iran’s nukes out for us, just as they did Iraq’s. I’d certainly like to see foreign aid money slashed though. Not just to Israel, but across the board.

  14. ajmadison Says:

I’m with you Arthur. If they find oil in the grand canyon I’m in favor of gettin it out. OF course, we don’t need to since there is plenty to be had outside the national parks, but the libs and McCain have thwarted that for decades.

  15. ajmadison Says:

Thank you walter. Look forward to making a go of this crazy thing.

  16. ajmadison Says:

Thanks, Rome. They managed to strangle the Reagan Revolution. No more.

  17. ajmadison Says:

Arthur, we will start categorizing by state soon, so the same staters can coordinate together. Cheers.

  18. ajmadison Says:

Crim. No worries on that front. We hate everyone equally (joking). Falcon is not anti-israel. They are a good ally, most of the time.

  19. ajmadison Says:

Well said, Synovio. We look forward to your participation.

  20. ajmadison Says:

Junkman, old fart or not, we will use your talents here.

  21. kerretarded Says:

I like it! You have my support!

  22. ajmadison Says:

Welcome to Falcon Kerretarded. We look forward to your help in re-igniting the Reagan Revolution.

  23. oldsalt Says:

I had almost begun to despair of ever finding like-minded people who feel that we need a new party with old tried and true principles. It appearsd that I have found it.I am looking forward to future successes again

  24. Xenohistorian Says:

Let me tell my political story. From 1966 to 2006 I lived in Florida, in or near Seminole County. The most Republican county in central Florida; the typical local election there is between a Republican and an independent, or between a Republican and a Libertarian. In fact, we were probably the ones who gave George W. Bush enough votes to put him over the top, in the 2000 election. Therefore I am disgusted at how the Republicans wimped out after the voters gave them the White House and both houses of Congress. The Democrats are poor losers, but the Republicans are even poorer winners!

When I moved to Kentucky two years ago, I registered as an independent, because I felt neither the Republicans or the Democrats represented me anymore. However, I’ve been checking the third parties and until now I couldn’t find a real alternative. The Reform Party is no more, the Libertarians are too preoccupied with legalizing drugs, Unity 2008 sounds moderate to the point of being wishy-washy, and the rest are just too extreme. For a while I thought the Constitution Party might be the answer, but I checked their forums before leaving Florida, and found they weren’t serious about winning the War on Terror. Some Constitutionalists, like the Libertarians, refuse to recognize it as a real war, because Congress didn’t issue the same kind of formal declaration that it passed after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor; never mind that Osama bin Laden declared war on us in a 1998 speech. Some were even entertaining the wild theory that the World Trade Center was not hit by airplanes, but destroyed in a controlled implosion, on orders from Washington! Thus, I had to conclude they are Paleo-Cons, and while they have good ideas on the rule of law, they’re not the place for a Neo-Con like me.

For this election, I’m not at all thrilled with the prospect of choosing between a candidate who’s untrustworthy (McCain), a candidate who’s unelectable (Obama), and a candidate who’s unlikeable (Hillary Clinton). Since folks these days like “sound bites,” here is the sound-bite version of what I want to hear a presidential candidate promise:

    1. Abolish the IRS.
    2. Cut spending.
    3. Ignore the tree-huggers.
    4. Secure the borders.
    5. Kill the terrorists.
    6. Smack the hippies.

It sounds like the Falcon Party is for all of these things. If so, I guess I’ll be your first member in Kentucky.

“Some were even entertaining the wild theory that the World Trade Center was not hit by airplanes, but destroyed in a controlled implosion, on orders from Washington!”

Xeno….this to me is one of the worst infections to enter the mind of net culture…and some idiots are lapping this propaganda up like mad…even now…

These theories where at first Islamic denials…claiming instead that the Mossad ‘did it”…the “Jews” did it…

After OBL claimed responsibilty, this was then picked up by leftists and America haters in the EU ,and morphed into “the CIA did it” and OBL was their tool….

Shortly thereafter…the western leftists moonbats allready suffering from BDS (Bush derangement syndrome)…started making the same wild accusations…only now..”Bush and the Neo-cons did it” to foment “endless war” and provide an excuse to “illegally invade” Iraq…nevermind that we didnt attack Iraq after 9/11…we attacked and diposed the Talibon in Afganistan…

Enter Dylan Avery ,wannabe film maker….he was trying to shuck a movie plot of Govt committed terror …long before 9/11…..when 9/11 happened..he and a couple of his ilk whipped up “loose change” based on his previous story filled in with 9/11 conspiracy…

It became a viral web hit with the moonbat leftists..those allready infected with BDS…

I have been doing virtual online battle with these cultist freaks for years…

I even stumbled upon an active recruiting cell on the former netscape news portal…

Thus the “Zeitgeist” was born..my late fathers pen name..

See my Blog for some backround with my dealings with “truthers” on “nutscape”…

    http://antitruther.blogspot.com/

But I am far from alone..there are others who take them seriously as a potential threat:

    http://screwloosechange.blogspot.com/

Another “9/11 was an inside job” Huckster is Alex Jones..he makes a good living selling DVD’s and book’s to the “truther” crowd…

He made his stake during the 90’s when Clinton was in office…selling books and Videos on “black helecopters” “UN take overs” “The Builderbergs” “ruby ridge” “waco” etc…

Just as he caters to the freaks on the far left now…he catered to the freaks on the far right then…

In fact…MCviegh’s deeds were not born from “talk radio” at all as Clinton claimed…his deeds were born from the propaganda of Alex Jones…

These freaks are everywhere…just today..I was in a national Electric Code update class…My coworker brought up the subject over lunch..as people had talked about it during one of his other classes(he thought it was crap…good boy)…..I informed him of my information etc etc……and upon returning from the lunch break…I was greated with none other than “loose change” playing on the overhead…

    I almost came unglued…

I challenged every man in the room very loudly….

“Is there a single person here that believes the OUR Govt killed over 3000 Americans on 9/11!”

    Silence…and a lot of shoe staring…

I said “SHAME…shame on you all for even letting this bullcrap be put on…”

I had to leave the room and have a smoke I was shaking so much with anger(I’m still livid)…If I didnt need the update to maintian my license..I would have left..

Needless to say…when I returned, the room was silent and the class was back on topic…

A couple guys even thanked me after the class for speaking up (my first thought was why didnt YOU)…but I digress..

Make no mistake…while most of them dropped off after the midterms when the GOP didnt “steal” congress, and Bush didnt “declare martial law” to put thousands in “prison camps”….there are still those out there infected by this germ…BDS

Much like 6 degrees of separation…within following two or three links…you will find the website of an anti-semite, a white supremisist, an America hater, a neo-nazi ,a Jihadist, an anarcist, a moonbat…Or even “Reverend” Wight and his followers..

It starts with BDS…(hatred of Bush)…

This then moves to hatred of the Govt and neo-cons (for helping it happen)…

Onward to hatred of any who dare question them (because they are certain they are right, and they inhabit an online echo chamber that re-enforces their decease)….

And finally…hatred of ALL Americans who dont buy into their crap…(WE are the enemy)

I truely believe someone from this crowd will be the next Mcveigh…it truely is a cult…and they are VERY web and alternative media savy…

Even a leftist Group in the UK picked up on it:

    http://www.911cultwatch.org.uk/

They allready have the motivation…they only lack the means and opportunity…

Much like the radicals from the 60’s ,the weathermen…sooner or later…there will be blood..

A close eye must be kept to assure these freak do not infect our own ranks to sow seeds of discredit as moles on Falcon as they do other groups.

There in no depths to which they will not sink..

They protest at ground zero and harrass visitors..they protest in Washington and gain favor and recruits from radical leftists…

When you saw black garbed window smashers rioting in the streets in protest of WTO…you saw them…

We will clearly become their enemy as we gain attention…

“Once you understand the nature of a thing….you’ll know what it’s capable of”

I will be brutally honest..it is ,after all, the best policy…

I was, in my youth ,very much like them… product of Liberal education, ignorant of history, ignorant of Government, ignorant of morals, ignorant of the greatness that is America…

    Ignorant of reality itself….

Only through self education, and a few hard knocks, was I able to break these bonds of ignorance…

I know them well…for I was once, one of them…

Now…I am the worst of their enemies..

I am aposate from the church of humanity..a heratic..a blasphemer of their god “ignorance”.

Please excuse the long post…But I urgently felt the need to expound on your post to provide everyone here with a primer on these very potentialy dangerous domestic enemies.

What I have posted is only the tip of this iceberg….

  26. Xenohistorian Says:

Yes, it was a long post, but I agree fully with what you said. I hope nobody minds that I posted a link to here in my favorite conservative forum. Not a whole lot of activity, and the moderator does a good job of getting rid of the trolls, so if we get any moles here, they won’t be from my link.

I remember battling with a 9-11 Truther on Delphiforums in 2006, who was so obsessed with his crackpot theories that he wouldn’t believe anything else. I tested him by asking him if he believed in God and where he thought we came from, and sure enough, it took months to get a straight answer. More recently I have posted a few messages in my own blog about September 11. You might like these two in particular:

My own views on why it could not have been a conspiracy of our government, posted last September 11:

  29. Arthur Says:

OOps, my stockbroker was in the WTC, I was on the phone with him EERIE when the phone went dead. His wife gave birth to twins a week before. They never knew how caring their dad was.

    Xeno:

I like that platform, too. I should add two things - 1) Justices who’ll obey the constitution - and not make laws.
    2) School CHOICE - be it home schooling, private or public.

  31. 50cal Smokepole Says:

I’m yet another Freeper who’s had enough of the country club, blueblood, Rockefeller repubies poking us conservatives in the eye every chance they get. I agree with everything in the Falcon platform.

Saturday was my District’s Republican Convention. One of the guys there was wearing a black “9-11 Truther” t-shirt.

It only took a couple of seconds to realize he was nuts.
Another person at the convention asked if I had seen the “retarded” guy.

    You are correct…they are EVERYWHERE!

Thankfully we now have the FALCON party to look forward to. Have been sending links out all over the place.

  33. Crim Says:

Lynn…one of these days I will run into a truther…

I Might just punch him right in the mouth…

    then smile and say

    “George Bush did it”

  34. ajmadison Says:

Lynn, I’m not sure which is more harmful to the GOP. The truthers or the libs. Either way, the days of the conservative party in this country tolerating either in our ranks is over.

  35. ajmadison Says:

Welcome 50cal. We’ve got some freepers, and some freecons, and even an LPer or two. Just not the bitter whining ones. Cheers.

  37. Bill3 Says:

I am not sure what I am, except really disapointed in the republican party and looking for a new home.

  38. ajmadison Says:

Well, Bill3, if you believe as we do, that this great country is worth every effort to renew, then you have found the logical home. We are very serious about the mission in front of us.

  39. Ranger Says:

    Comments From Ranger

Ranger wishes the Falcon Party health and prosperity.
Ranger agrees that conservatives would only get into the same old fight with the old guard Republican liberals. The fight goes back to Goldwater vs. Rockefeller and now the liberals are aligned with the Mainstream Media and is ascendant. Conservative energy might be better expended with the Falcon Party.
    Suggestion:
Go around the country and pick out the good conservative candidates for office – regardless of party affiliation - and give conservative candidates an endorsement. Build up Falcon credibility with voters. When possible and when the Falcon party is registered in the locale, then nominate the person as a Falcon Party candidate, in addition to their other nomination.
Suggestion: reread Ronald Reagan’s Farewell Address - often
    http://www.reaganfoundation.org/reagan/speeches/farewell.asp
Suggestion: from the beginning - plan to win the war of propaganda. Propaganda is a concerted set of messages aimed at influencing the opinions or behaviors of large numbers of people. As opposed to impartially providing information, propaganda in its most basic sense presents information in order to influence its audience.
Suggestion: Find people who will act as and be a conservative response team. Become the responsible responder for conservative principles. Do not to let the MSM – or socialist/liberals define conservative positions and principles. This has been a major failure of Republican Party. It has not been the representative of conservative principles.
Maintain a data base of conservative positions and writers. Synthesize positions and publish them to MSM as an action authority. By this means separate Falcon as conservative authority from Republican. If there are real policy differences then conduct credible surveys, of members, republicans, democrats, third party, and independents to ascertain issues and consensus. Publish the results.

  40. ajmadison Says:

Ranger, thank you for the prudent suggestions. We welcome all constructive advice and criticism. And we certainly welcome conservative allies such as yourself.

  41. Arthur Says:

I’m a FREEPER (EagleAndLiberty) and I do have a tagline promoting the FALCON Party. I’d love to see a few candidates running this year.
As I said on FR that this year after the election (win, lose or draw) that us CONSERVATIVES switch fom the GOP to the FALCON - to tell the ‘leadership’ of the RNC that we had enough of RINOS. Now we have the party for us CONSERVATIVES and I want to help build it.

  42. ajmadison Says:

Well, you will certainly have the opportunity to help us make this new party something that would make our founders proud. The lightweights and globalists in charge of the major parties won’t know what hit ‘em.

  43. Lea O Says:

    Another FReeper here.
Since FALCON decided not to put forth a nominee this year, I became a delegate for the republican party in an attempt to thwart at least a part of the progressive agenda.

Our convention was last week. One liberal “party” man was soundly defeated in a big race for our state leadership. Yeah!!!

The reaction and enthusiasm shown any time the presumptive nominee was named was less than lukewarm with some outright hostility voiced. Luckily, he wasn’t mentioned often. Heard many discussing a new party.

  44. Larry Says:

A Reagan statesman that served directly under Ronald Reagan in the U.S. State Department during the Reagan presidency has recently left the Republican Party and is running as an Independent candidate for the presidency.

    Ambassador Alan Keyes

“He was ultimately appointed by President Reagan as Assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations.”

“In that role, Dr. Keyes oversaw the development and implementation of U.S. policy regarding international organizations. He also served on the National Security Council staff.”

“As an Assistant Secretary of State, Dr. Keyes managed the work of diplomats in Washington and in several U.S. missions in New York and overseas — diplomats who worked on issues ranging from peace, security, and counter-terrorism, to democracy and human rights.”

“As part of his responsibilities over the Bureau of International Organization Affairs, Dr. Keyes also managed U.S. policy relating to issues before the UN Security Council.”

“Prior to becoming Assistant Secretary, he was appointed by Ronald Reagan as Ambassador to the United Nations Economic and Social Council — representing the sovereign interests of the United States in the UN General Assembly.”

You can check out Dr Alan Keyes credentials, issues, record, etc at http://www.americasrevival.com/about/reagan.php

Over half the conservative base stayed away from the Republican Party primary this year because they didn’t find a conservative worthy of their vote. Spread the word that there is a true Reagan conservative running for president and help that majority of conservatives find Dr Alan Keyes and lets elect this Reagan statesman to the presidency.

As a new member of Falcon, I hesitate to jump in, but I do wish to say I have met and listened to Alan Keyes, and while he may be an effective preacher, he has his own agenda apart from the political party he seeks to represent. That’s the reason he failed as a Republican and again as a conservative candidate. He is a nice person and very dedicated, but I can’t see him going anywhere in national leadership, despite his obvious passion.

    Slinkie

  46. ajmadison Says:

Larry, we are fully aware of Alan Keyes here. If folks want to vote for him over the McCain/Obama/Hillary debacle then that is fine with us. But FALCON is making no endorsements at this time.

  47. ajmadison Says:

Well Lea, get your friends and associates to give us a look. If they are conservatives, minus the whack gene, they will like what they see.

  48. Bill3 Says:

I may be a little off target, but maybe not. The de-regualtion of oil futures in 2000 started runaway prices on crude oil. Now congress is talking about re-instating the regulations and prohibiting Dubai and UK to invest in Texas crude futures, but not until the fall. I think I can see the future here. The democrats will blame the cost of crude on the Bush administration (even though it was Clintons administration) for the de-regulation. Then they will take the credit during the campaign to correct this serious error in congressional judgement. They make McCain look like the vandal, the price of crude drops after Obama wins the election and gas goes under $3. We’ve been had all along since 2000, but no one will be the wiser. Obama will be the great gasoline savior in the media.

  49. johnthebaptistmoore Says:

The Falcon Party truly also needs to fully compare and fully contrast itself with all of the other U.S. political parties, both major and minor, that conservatives will still truly have any kind of an interest in for both the present and for the future. It’s also probable that, in the future, many conservatives will end up seriously creating many new political parties without even knowing about the existence of either the Falcon Party or the existence of any other political parties that truly appeal to U.S. conservatism. Present political parties that conservatives support at some level include: The Republican Party, The Constitution Party, The Libertarian Party, The American Conservative Party, The America First Party, and The Southern Party. The Falcon Party can’t truly ignore all of the other political parties if they truly and seriously want to become a very competitive political party for the long-term.

  50. ajmadison Says:

    Johnthebaptistmoore,

that is a good idea. We are going to create a series of printable info sheets. that would be a good one to include.

    Thanks

  51. ajmadison Says:

    Bill3,

It looks like Obama and the dems may be killing themselves with their opposition to drilling. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of pinkos.

  52. johnthebaptistmoore Says:

It truly will be important for the Falcon Party to also fully explain about the entire history of political correctness not just from within the entire U.S., but also fully explain about the entire history of political correctness from within the entire world. Too many conservatives in the U.S., when discussing any to all issues related to political correctness, far too often only discuss all of the problems from just within the U.S. when it’s actually a worldwide problem. The ongoing political bias in the mainstream media is truly worldwide. The ongoing political indoctrination in public schools at every level all the way up to include nearly all colleges and nearly all universities is truly happening worldwide. The United Nations truly uses political correctness during its entire duration of existence and in everything that they either do or don’t do. The ongoing “dumbing down” of the general public is truly a worldwide problem and not just a U.S. problem. The entire entertainment industry with all of its ongoing political polarizations is truly a world industry, and not just Hollywood. Political correctness truly won’t be successfully reversed and eventually successfully eliminated if it’s only seen from within just the U.S.! Think-tanks and other serious organizations must also be successfully created all over the entire world to truly deal with ALL OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS for the long-term! We presently still only have organizations and think-tanks throughout the U.S. that truly only deal with tiny fractions of political correctness issues and only from within the U.S. For example, Accuracy in Media and The Media Research Center only deal with political bias from within the mainstream media and only from within the U.S. They also don’t just as equally help out the rest of the world when it comes to ALL POLITICAL BIAS in the mainstream media at the worldwide level. Political correctness truly and seriously won’t be successfully and finally eliminated for everyone for always at any point in the future when the ENTIRE PROBLEM isn’t even FULLY looked at to the best of human abilities.

  53. Synovio Says:

I was listening to Bobby Jindal, (That bright young Guv’ny of Looziana)as he was speaking on Fox news a couple of days ago. This is the kinda person we need in American politics. He doesn’t give a damn about the political ramifications of his actions - he does what he believes is the right and good thing to do.
This contrasts sharply with the ambitious opportunism & blatant treachery to their sworn oaths of office the “usual suspects” we all know & loath from both sides of the aisle have foistered upon us for decades.
Perhaps Mr. Jindal would make a great presidential candidate for the Falcon party..of course, he’s a Republican..and he probably thinks the GOP can change for the conservative better some day, but I think it’s way too far gone..sumpthin’ like a rusty 55 Chevy that one might find in a barn somewhere in rural Maine..it has to be stripped down ta’ the bone..body off the frame..then rebuilt..it takes time & cash & is a labor of love. This works for old cars, but in the case of career-politics, we need a brand new set a’ wheels..

  54. johnthebaptistmoore Says:

Unfortunately, there are already people in Louisiana who are attempting to recall Governor Jindal mainly because he is not truly doing enough to stop the recent pay raise that the Louisiana legislature had just recently agreed to. Jindal is already struggling some as Governor of Louisiana, and he hasn’t been in his present job for that long. We all shall see what happens overall, both positive and negative, with Governor Jindal.

  55. Spacewarp Says:

A few years ago, several folks started the American Patriot Party. I was looking for a new home. Being sick of the Republican party and knowing the treasonous behavior of the Democrats, I started looking to form a new party. I found the APP while looking into it. When I joined, we had some 50 members. I worked with the people that were founding the party to get things going. I’m not the most eloquent speaker in the world, but at some point, I managed to get a 1 hour interview on a Charlotte radio station (as the North Carolina chair) and we gained over 500 new members in the next week in North and South Carolina. It’s not a matter of me convincing people of our message. It was very similar to the message of the Falcon party. It’s just that people want the truth. People want common sense.

There are quite a few things to be aware of….

    1) Libertarian Party, Constitution Party and several others have written into their bylaws that they are not allowed to work with other parties, no matter how close their party affiliations.

    2) Every state’s requirements for ballot access are different. Somewhere along the way, we need to get a section on the board for what the rules are for each state, and a status piece to allow each state’s efforts to get started and know how many signatures, members, etc we have.

    3) Every place we can get publicity (radio is good, very good), and interviews are always going to bring in people. And state fairs are good. Very good. If you’re going to get people’s attention, visit Vista Print and get a free 250 cards with the website. Hand them out as often as you can.

    4) Keep the infighting down to nothing. If you don’t believe in one minor part of the platform, you don’t feel that one thing isn’t quite right, don’t throw it all away. It’s simple, you are here because you disagree with the Republican party and the Democrat party in a lot more ways than one. So, to give up on everything just because you don’t want one plank in the platform, work within to change things.

I look forward to where things are going.

  56. Spacewarp Says:

Let’s get a move on. Raring and ready to get jumping.

    Paul

  57. ajmadison Says:

Johnthebaptistmore, I’m finishing up my piece on poltical correctness. I will post it here next week. I look forward to your critique.

    Cheers.

  58. ajmadison Says:

    Spacewarp,

Unfortunately, I have been working out of state on and off this summer, so I’ve had a hard time keeping up on my political activity. That is coming to an end, and we are planning to be more active and aggressive in the coming weeks and months. It has to be, so we can lay that foundation for success. The country needs FALCON, but they do not know it yet.

  59. johnthebaptistmoore Says:

Political correctness, at the worldwide level, should already be a major issue for all conservatives all over the world to successfully tackle and to successfully defeat in the future, because it’s truly slowing down all of conservatism on all of the issues all over the world! It’s truly amazing how political correctness is able to get to the calibur that it already presently is, and there still isn’t a serious worldwide movement to truly and to successfully stop it for always. In my honest opinion, political correctness is the most important issue to successfully resolve for the long-term and not just from within the U.S. but also all over the entire world.

  60. johnthebaptistmoore Says:

The term being “politically correct” originated in China, and is mentioned in Mao’s “Little Red Book”. This fact is also mentioned by Mitt Romney a few months ago. Out of all of the original major ‘08 GOP Presidential candidates who could be talking at all about anything and everything having to do with the ongoing issue of political correctness, it’s the “fake” conservative, Mitt Romney, who ends up briefly mentioning the origin of political correctness! Also, Wikipedia, after typing in “political correctness” in search, has a nice summery of the history of political correctness. I know that many conservatives are still very critical of Wikipedia in everything that they either do or don’t do, especially in everything that involves “conservative politics”, but I’ve been mostly satisfied with Wikipedia with what they do cover. It will truly be important to successfully replace “all political correctness” with “all commonsense” on all of the issues worldwide, and people all over the world seriously need to successfully brainstorm about ways to successfully make this happen for always. Truly continuing to do nothing about all of political correctness will only ensure that it gets even worse for everybody everywhere in the entire world.

  61. Spacewarp Says:

I’m truly glad. I understand how work can get in the way.

Hopefully, we can get things moving forward. I’m going to ask that when the site is truly active that we have a section that details the requirements of each state’s party registration system, and what our status for each state is.

I know one thing I plan on doing when we have materials and I can print literature and be ready to move forward is to go to the State Fairgrounds to the flea market they have every weekend. It’s $15 to get a license to sell, solicit, canvass. I figure they get nearly 3000 eyes a day during the weekend. If I can get 6000 views for 3 weekends in a row, I’m spending $45 to get us some good visibility. In this state we have requirements for party registration coming from many counties, not just one. So, at least I can see about recruiting others to do the same from other counties. A popular Wal-Mart, a good grocery store, an easy weekend of just talking to people. You’re not selling, just distributing literature and getting people to sign a petition to get the party on the ballot.

We have to come up with VERY effective reasons to show the 2-party system we have in this country is broken in such a way that the average Wal-Mart shopper will understand it.

    Paul

  62. johnthebaptistmoore Says:

I just want to agree with all conservatives who truly believe that Sarah Palin as John McCain’s Vice Presidential pick is truly a brilliant political move. I truly believe that Sarah Palin is one of the best VP picks that McCain could of possibly made. Everybody everywhere in the entire world truly has some negative things as well as imperfect things about them, and there will be plenty of dirt attempted to be brought up by the mainstream media and by the leftists from within the “new media” on both John McCain and Sarah Palin. But, John McCain truly needed a decent “shot in the political arm” in order to greatly improve upon his serious chances for Presidential victory on November 4, and bringing in Sarah Palin will truly help John McCain a lot in successfully getting much more support, in getting much more money, and, most importantly, in getting much more total votes for John McCain/Sarah Palin on November 4. The bad news is that this latest political move by McCain also hurts the Constitution Party, hurts the Libertarian Party, and hurts all other newly created “Conservative Political Parties”, including, but not limited to, the Falcon Party, at least for the short-term.

  63. johnthebaptistmoore Says:

With President Bush’s official signature on the latest version of the “financial bailout legislation”, the U.S. continues its leftward move towards socialism. It will be extremely important for all conservatives throughout the U.S. to seriously plan their next moves, because the entire U.S. is seriously headed for some very hard times in the years to come and no matter who the next President of the United States is between Barack Obama and John McCain. It will also become necessary for as many conservatives as humanly possible to come together as one group and form one political entity in order to successfully prevent fractions of conservatives, who really want and need the same things on all of the issues, from getting nowhere, because they fail to successfully get together to form just one group. Serious long-term planning for the future of the entire “U.S. conservative movement” needs to start now!

  64. Conservative Jack Says:

I’ve been ready for 20+ years for a viable, truly conservative third party. I think the Falcon Party can be it if we get legs under this idea. Let me know how I can help in Ohio. Is there offical literature that can be used to help spread the message?

  65. Sua Sponte Says:

The GOP is imploding before our eyes as we close on this election. Collapsing under the weight of self induced liberal socialism and inability to identify and hold true to conservative principles as outlined by our Founding Fathers. Good riddance. Let’s keep the Falcon Party first and foremost in our thoughts and deeds in the dark days ahead. God Bless America, more than ever.

  66. Spacewarp Says:

    Today, we must start anew.

    It’s time.

Let’s get going. We have a LOT of mess to clean up.

It’s time for the adults to start working as the kids have messed things up long enough.

  67. tim55 Says:

OK, what is the plan to get this rolling and RELEVANT by the next election cycle. We need to do whatever is necessary to make sure that this does not become another movement that dies on the vine. The Falcon Party must begin TODAY to make itself known to every American so as not to end up as the Ron Paul movement did.

  68. Xenohistorian Says:

Tim55, I’m still here, representing Kentucky. Even though we were the first state to vote “red” (Obama and Biden pretty much kissed us goodbye, when they promised to bankrupt the coal industry), I can see Republicans have a long way to go. My guess is that we were quiet for most of the campaign because John McCain energized the Right by picking Sarah Palin; I certainly was excited. Well, it was fun while it lasted. Now it looks like McCain’s ultimate purpose may have been to introduce Palin to the “Lower 48,” with her being the front runner when the 2012 campaign begins. Of course, we may want to concentrate on winning back Congress first.

  69. montesquieu Says:

It’s so good to hear that American spirit. We ARE still here despite who might be in the White House. WE WILL NOT BE BROKEN!! WE ARE AMERICA. “The dream” lives on in the hearts and minds of each of us. Our government works for US. It’s time to make them accountable!! Never forget the POWER is with the people. We just need to get organized and need new leadership and vision.

I’m excited to see people readying themselves for the battle ahead. I’ve been so down since the election, and watching the Republicans leadership or lack of, I was really beginning to get worried. I keep having thoughts of going to get a Passport and skipping town!! I now have a place to channel my emotions into positive change!!

I’d love to help wherever needed. Passing out fliers or posting messages and maybe even representing my state. We have a lot of powerful Republicans. Thad Cochran, Haley Barbour, who served under Reagan, and former Senator Trent Lott… I have some inroads that may be useful if we need to get something to or through them. I have a feeling a lot of the Southern Republicans are getting pretty tired of all the faux Conservatives!!

  70. montesquieu Says:

I had another thought!! Is there anything we can do to help out in the race in Georgia?! I know how important that state is for us.

  71. tim55 Says:

I think a good way to find out just who is serious about the Falcon Party would be to organize a mobilization against Obama’s Senate Bill S.2433. This bill will commit 30 billion additional tax dollars to foreign aid, on top of what is already paid (which I might add, a large percentage never reaches the poor due to the corruption of the UN.) Also buried in this bill is a demand for UN registration of all small arms owned by Americans, as well as a requirement to put US armed forces elements under command of the UN. If this isn’t a direct threat to US sovereignity, I don’t know what is.

  72. kwiebe Says:

I’m ready to go to work. We need to start the snowball rolling and gathering more snow (people). There are millions in the GOP who are disenchanted now and who are looking for a new home. This party could be it, if we get the word out. Millions more could follow as the Obama hangover starts and begins to intensify, probably as early as next year. A tipping point is coming, and we need to be ready. As strange as it sounds, I think I’m glad McCain lost. His loss should serve to hasten a much-needed showdown of principles that will ultimately mean a return of power to the People of this Nation. I’m looking forward to that showdown. Let’s roll.

  73. jwhitt Says:

I am glad to find a party where I can relate. The extreme left have attempted to ruin this great country. I have served my country and do not want to see it go down in flames. We have taken a complete 180 from our founding fathers’ ideas. It is time to tell our government enough is enough!
