So, is there any word on when the Falcon Party intends to move toward relevance? Is there a list of possible candidates running for offices at local levels that the Falcon Party backs? Or is this another movement dying before it even starts?

What happened, I feel like I had a hopeful oportunity dangled in front of me, and now it appears to be dying on the vine...This country faces the greatest threat to it's survival now, and those of us who believe in American Values and the ideals of our forefathers have still not stepped up and created a relevant party to oppose the two parties that are participating in our country's ruination. When do we stop chasing the carrot, and do something....ANYTHING? Will we all succumb to complacency and allow our country to die? Will I be reduced to telling my grandson about how America used to be? God Almighty, don't let this be the end.......

I have been waiting for a year for something of substance to happen here. It now appears I will be waiting for another year.

What prevented the Falcon Party from exploiting the history of Barack Obama and telling the true story about his politics and worldview BEFORE November 4, 2008?

Hindsight being 20/20, I wonder how many would have been opposed to the so-called “bailout” or “loans” to the banks had we known then what we now know?

While there are some disagreements on the exact date, it is now well known fact that:
“a tremendous drawdown of money market accounts in the United States, to the tune of $550 billion, was drawn out in the matter of an hour or two.”
Had the Fed not acted quickly that day… (9-11 or 9-18 makes no never mind)
“…their estimation was that by 2 o'clock that afternoon, $5.5 trillion would have been drawn out of the money market system of the United States, would have collapsed the entire economy system of the United States and within 24 hours the world economy would have collapsed.” http://townhall.com/columnists/DianaWest/2009/02/12/who_attacked_our_economy_why_does_no_one_care

There are and were many, MANY reasons to oppose McCain, but President George W. Bush was not one of them, IMHO. If the Falcon Party is just another “Hate Bush” site, I will not be visiting again.

If you are a new party why not promote new ideas? Reagan is dead -- let him rest in peace. We lost more personal freedoms during his 8 years than we ever dreamt of losing under President Bush.

And as pertains to spending? US Government Spending as Percent of GDP during the Reagan years was 35.20%. During the 8 years of President Bush it was 35.46%. If you choose to remove the spending for 2008, which includes the “bailout” then spending drops to 35.29. Removing the numbers for ‘07 and ‘08, while facing a hostile congress and the need to fund our troops, the percentage drops to 35.26%. Forgive me if this is blasphemous to you, but .06 or .09 or even .26% does not make President Bush a drunken sailor compared to Reagan.

Show me a list of Falcon Party candidates for 2010 and 2012, if we are permitted to hold elections, and leave Reagan and President Bush out of it. They are gone!

Thanks to your passionate essay,I am confident (and anxious) to send this off to the RNC, The Presidential Coalition, and the NRSC:

Dear Sirs and Madams,
I have been looking at these same four envelopes you sent me for over two weeks (three names but two are from the RNC). You’re waiting for my usual contribution. I’m reluctant to honor my pledge. I don’t think I should keep my promise since you didn’t keep yours. You did not give my party a legitimate honest conservative to compete with the likes of Barrack Obama and his very savvy campaign team. That’s what you were supposed to do. You might as well have been vacationing in the Bahamas for all the good you did. Even after it shook out that we were going with McCain, where were you guys? The man was like a lost soul circling the edge of Hades. Except for Sarah Palin, the rest sucked. There were 56 million of us who did not vote for Obama. None of that is to your credit. We are the ones that listen to talk radio, read and write the blogs, read three and four newspapers cover to cover every day. Scanning the internet, we are the ones connecting the dots… catching Obama’s endorsements from North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, the US Communist Party, France’s socialist party, the Black Panthers, the Democratic Socialists of America, the Hamas, Kaddafi, Nation of Islam and Louis Farrakhan, and all the other radical, leftist, socialist and Marxist organizations in existence. We are the ones frantically e-mailing our family and friends, our congressmen. We are the ones in church praying for divine intervention~but you didn’t come. Obama’s stuff was out there for all to see, ridiculous restrictions on guns, welfare/under the pretense of tax cuts, ‘spread the wealth around’, sympathy to the islamists, wide-open abortion. You only had to get the word out to the hard working, non-political voters who just want the life they had yesterday, but you didn’t.

Where were you when the congress strong-armed the rest of the republicans to give in to the 700 billion dollar bail out? Where was your leadership? The American people let you know we didn’t want it. Why didn’t you help McCain out there? Since he endorsed the bailout, he was the same as Obama. What’s Maverick about that? Why didn’t you tear open the story on the housing debacle as Congress’s mortal sin? And now that we are into the bailout, why isn’t somebody standing on somebody’s desk demanding accountability for that money? My 401K is cut in half because there is no leader taking us into a productive competitive capitalistic future. This recession could have been over in a year or two. Instead, there’s only the grim unknown. I have a Marxist to hand off to my children and grand children with no hope or promise things will get better for the first time in 250 years. And it happened on your watch.

Ajmadison, I'm still here. For the record, my state of Kentucky was the first to vote for McCain on Election Day. I must admit, I was surprised at the lack of activity here in the summer and fall months; maybe it's because Sarah Palin energized the Republican Party's conservative base. She got me energized, anyway. Aside from that, I agree fully with what you said in the above monologue. Now where do we go from here?

I would like to offer a different prospective. As a republican candidate who ran for state house of representatives, the state GOP did exactly the opposite. My opponent, an incumbent freshman democrat, has many personal issues promoted legalizing drugs, gay marriage, abandoning prisons for honor camps, voted against small business legislation, voted for increasing taxes and fees... The list goes on and on. My community which is made up of independent voters, also has the largest concentration of republicans in the state. I ran a positive campaign, staying away from attacking my opponent personally. Then, in the last weeks, the state GOP decided on their own to "help" me by dropping a series of mailers without my permission or blessing that negatively attacked my opponent personally. This negative attack caused a backlash in the community which ultimately cost me the election.
